Wyoming School Nurses,
We are pleased to announce an exciting new program for receiving free professional development, sharing evidenced-based best practices in school nursing, and building a stronger network of Wyoming school nurses. The new program is called the University of Wyoming ECHO in School Nursing, which is a collaboration between the Faye W. Whitney School of Nursing, the Johnson and Johnson School Leadership Program, the Wyoming School Nurses Association (WSNA), and the University of Wyoming – Wyoming Institute for Disabilities (WIND).
We are currently in the planning stages of this new project, which is scheduled to kick-off in 2017. In the meantime, we need your assistance in developing a needs-based curriculum for school nurses. Please go to https://goo.gl/forms/F3SglvuWE1rmEenh1 and complete a quick 7-10 minute survey. Your answers to the survey will assist the planning team in creating a needs-based curriculum around the professional development topics most important to Wyoming's school nurses. By completing the survey you will be entered in a raffle to win a $25 Amazon gift card.
Please forward this email on to new school nurses in your area. The survey link is also available on the WSNA website. The survey will end at midnight on Sunday, October 16, 2016, so please don't delay.
Thank you for providing your input by taking the survey. Feel free to email or call the number below if you have any questions or problems with the survey.
Sincerely,
UW ECHO in School Nursing Planning Team
